In memory of loved ones and in time for Yom Tov, we are honored to have published the 21st edition of the Young Israel of Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale Yizkor Book 5786.
The Yizkor Book provides a meaningful way to commemorate the memory of our departed loved ones and to fulfill the sacred mitzvah of tzedakah in their honor.
You have the option to have your memorial printed in full color, creating a more beautiful and lasting tribute. Full-page dedications can also include photos, allowing you to make your listing even more personal and heartfelt.
The 5787 edition will be available in time for use on Yom Kippur and remain in use through Shavuot, including both the names of loved ones for whom Yizkor is recited and the Tefilot Yizkor participants recite during the service.
The cost for each listing will remain the same as in years past in the hope that as many members as possible will be able to participate. The charge for the first two listings is $36 each, which includes both the donor’s family name and the names of the persons being remembered. Each additional name is $18. Please keep in mind that a listing of “Mr. and Mrs.” is considered two names. Full-page color listings are available at the cost of $250 and black and white at $180.

Important Note: If you participated in last year’s Yizkor Book, your listing will automatically be included in the new edition and you will be billed at the current rates. No action is required on your part if there are no changes to last year’s listing. Completed forms and payment must be returned to the Young Israel office, Attn: Yizkor Book, no later than Thursday, August 21st 2026, in order to be guaranteed inclusion in the new edition.
